As soon as we opened the door Maplewild welcomed us and has made our all too brief stay pure joy! I loved knowing your families history with this palace and you’ve done such a fabulous job with renovation. The cabin is a beautiful, comfortable retreat, just perfect for our family to relax and reconnect-just as your website promised. Wow what a wonderful place! Our first night was a rain shower which we enjoyed in the spa. Incredibly romantic! We hiked on Rainier, enjoyed the fragrance of the rainforest, and totally relaxed. Life is better just knowing this place exists - CJ and Heidi

We came, we hiked, we dined, we entertained, and we celebrated our anniversary, how delightful to find this little piece of heaven manifest on earth. We came with bags of stress. It melted away in the enchantment of the awesome mountain, while soaking in the hot tub beneath the starry sky framed by tall firs, listening to music on the cool sound system and dancing on the shiny wooden floors. - Peace, Dinis

We had a wonderful relaxing time. This cabin is inviting, well done and easy to make your own. Thank you for the effort and love that went into creating it. Never enjoyed a hot tub as much as this one. We feel very lucky to have stumbled across your website on the internet. Our expectations have been greatly exceeded! From the warmth of the fireplace to the nestled comfort of the bed (better than home even!) We have enjoyed every minute of our stay. We can tell that every effort was made to make this cabin a heavenly getaway. We have loved our stay here, romantic serene, peaceful. Today as we walked along the snow kissed trail, we were greeted by five deer, passing along just 20 feet away! They were cautious but not alarmed. My boyfriend and I arrived at Maplewild on a snowy new year’s afternoon. We were very pleasantly surprised by the comforting atmosphere of this wonderful retreat, so cozy, so private. We stayed two days longer than originally planned. We were blessed with a beautiful winter wonderland with snow falling all weekend. We got about two feet of snow. On the eve of New Years eve as we sat in the hot tub sipping wine, with the snow gently falling around we looked above and watched a spectacular fireworks display above the tree line! Wow! This was a vacation that Alan and I will never forget. The next evening while we were B-B-Q-ing, two deer walked up the hill about five feet from our deck. It is so peaceful and quiet here. Janet and Pat are absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We loved our stay. Can’t wait to come back. - Kris and Alan

We are so blessed to have stayed here at your Maplewild Cabin.  It is truly the perfect setting to relax and unwind.  It is so much more beautiful than the pictures on the webiste.  We absolutely love the privacy and the quiet.  It was so nice to sit in the hot tub with nothing but nature around us.  The convenience of location to Mt Rainier was also very nice.  We were so close to the mountain that the views were great and the hiking was right at the doorstep.  Thank you again for a wonderful retreat.-Glen and Donna.

Absolutely beautiful here.  An inspring location. Clean air and clean water...simply eveyrthing you could hope for.  This is a sensational cabin that you may only come to out of luck, or good fortune.  I certainy won't forget my stay here.Maybe someday I will return with more art supplies..How remarkable it all is.-J.A
